This simple answer is that we can't give you a quality rating based on just a few thousand views. So we try to be fair and give you an "average" quality rating until we get enough data.

I'm seeing this too, and suspect that they are running ads that are paying them less.

Base CPM for me was at a high of 43 cents on April 9th, and has dropped a bit every day until it is now 27 cents.

That in combination with a similar drop in quality rating from 113 down to 54 during the same period means that my revenues have dropped considerably.

I know my app hasn't changed, I'm gaining consistent number of new users every day, basically the same audience, ad views have been growing daily on a consistent basis, so it has to be ad quality.

Not much to do about it  but encourage them to get some better, higher paying advertisers.

My audience is mostly UK on bebo, so that could account for some of the differences.

Most of the ads I've been seeing are adult chat rooms, which is probably not very good for my 80K users who are mostly kids and mostly young kids at that.

Of course, I don't know what they're showing my users, only what I can see myself.

On the positive side, my QR has almost doubled to 98.

I don't really know. People say that Bebo is mostly UK, but I don't really have a way to verify that.

Thank you for the details Abhinav we're investigating the changes on our side. The final payout values are consistent, but the QR and the base CPM seem to be mis-represented. Please note that final payouts have not changed as result of the issue.
